I have copied below my reply to Senator Shenton's email dated the 7th July. His email stated that he would, 'get back to you [me] soonest'. It is now the 14th?
Am I expecting too much?
Is a week his 'soonest'?
Lets see, maybe he had just forgotten.
Simon

Dear Senator Shenton
Thank you for your email dated 7th July.
I was anticipating a reply from you once you had spoken to Senator Perchard.
Please can you advise whether you are going to reply or can I assume that you are ignoring my requests for a meeting?
Kind regards
Simon Bellwood

In answer to your question, yes you are asking far too much. A week to get a reply from a Democratically elected "represenative"?
To put that into context for you I have been waiting 3 years for replies from Senator Mike (GST 28)Vibert and still haven't got them.
You should be well enough versed in the way things are done over here by now. They ignore you and e-mails, duck and dive any questions you ask, and set out to frustrate you.
This is done to try and wear you down in the hope you just might throw the towel in, give up the ghost if you like, they bury their heads in the sand and hope you'll go away.
Believe me if you are looking to get any kind of justice, you have got an extremely long way to go yet!! waiting just one week for an e-mail..... pleeeease!!!!
These people are going to fukc you around, fob and palm you off and completey ignore you and your e-mails, after all who is there to tell them they can't?, what are you going to do about it?

It took a week for him to sign the letter of condolence to Holly Deegan's parents.
Integrity is not a strength
Congratulations on the report
I take it you'll publish asap
Simon.
I watched the channel report item on your "probable" unfair treatmant at Greenfields.
I am only too aware of the relationship between CTV and our ruling elite so have my own idea's as to why you weren't interviewd as part of their item.
Could you let us know your thoughts on the "bulletin", were you asked to contribute to it in any way? Do you think it was an informative, thourogh and balanced piece of "Journalism" and fair reflection of both sides of the "facts"?.
Any reply from Shenton yet?

I was quite disturbed today by a conversation I had with a work colegue.Having attended a family b.b.q one of her relatives was very upset that his grand daughter, who is in care had phoned him that evening, worried that she had to have a bath and it was only male staff on duty. He subsequently phoned the home, to be told, yes due to the holiday roster there were no female staff on duty. How can this happen in the current light of things .I am not a care worker or have anything to do with this field but alarm bells are ringing in my ears when a venerable young girl feels so desparate.Surely their should be a mix of staff at all times. Are their no set guidelines?
